Medprint reaches objective in Rome
10.000 visitors' notch exceeded
The exhibition of machinery and technology for the central and southern Italian industry of graphic arts fills up at the new Fiera di Roma. Medprint, the fourth edition of the trade event organized by Centrexpo, has reached all its objectives upon its debut in the capital. Over 10.000 market players have visited the two pavilions during the four-day exhibition, which ended on Sunday April 22nd. This achievement, with a surface of 8.000 sqm and 280 exhibitors, awards Medprint the title of greatest technology exhibition ever held in the area.
"The response from printing and paper converting professionals came according to our best expectations - Centrexpo CEO Guido Corbella comments -. According to an early survey, exhibitors are very satisfied about the quality of the visitors, which came in great numbers ever since the first day and appeared interested in innovations, competent and willing to invest".
The central-southern area thus deserves a specific event within its reach and tailored on the size and technology needs of the industries operating there. In particular, digital technology was very successful; it must no longer be considered as a niche product, as it is spread throughout the entire graphic arts industry.
"Great improvements in digital technology have raised the interest and the appreciation of the owners of traditional printing shops as well - Mr. Corbella underlines -. Cut-edge technology is given more and more space beside traditional equipment and has great influence on the success of a company, especially in times of economic recovery. Medprint's successful outcome - Centrexpo CEO concludes - is shared with the new Fiera di Roma, which is a grand, modern and well-structured facility. Its response to the first great technology exhibition ever held in it, quite a challenging test for an exhibition facility, was very satisfactory
