Milan, March 2007
Medprint at the new Fiera di Roma
The events agenda is complete
An all-comprehensive exhibiting arena, moving machinery and high-profile events are building up anticipation for Medprint 2007.
250 exhibiting companies, representing all the most important brands of the industry, over a net surface of about 8.000 sqm; the digital printing, large-size printing and finishing segments are particularly well represented at the debut edition of the Exhibition of Technologies for the Mediterranean Printing, Publishing and Paper Converting Industry at the new Fiera di Roma (from April 19th to 22nd). The exhibiting arena includes a wide range of equipment and solutions for the graphic and paper converting industry, pre-press, traditional printing machinery, inks, supports and services.
The exhibition is easy to reach and certainly worth visiting. The new exhibition complex is particularly well connected; the rational layout of infrastructures gives it great impact and profitability. This makes it easier to participate in the discussion opportunities organized within the exhibition, which include all aspects of printing and converting, technical issues as well as product marketing. The latter subject is becoming central due to the new opportunities created by digital technology.
The agenda includes meetings, conventions and seminars carried out in cooperation with the most representative associations of the industry.
The opening day, April 19th, features the first event produced by the partnership between Centrexpo Spa and 4IT Group: it is the Digital Printing Forum@Medprint, discussing the following issue: "Beyond digital printing: high added value services to increase sales".
CNA Grafica promotes the meeting called "The relationship between professional and customer from a marketing point of view" on Friday April 20th.The same day will feature two events by ATIF (Italian Technical Association for the development of Flexoprinting) discussing "Calibration and tolerance in photopolymer matrices". The second event of the day is promoted by CNA and focuses on the corporate organization of printing companies. The topic is "Printing, shipping and stocking: prospective and problems for authors, printers and small-size publishers".
The agenda goes on with the 3rd meeting of label manufacturing companies of central and southern Italy organized by Gipea and divided in two parts: the first part will be held on Friday April 20th and the second part on Saturday April 21st. Friday April 20th also features a meeting promoted by Inside srl, a marketing, communication and graphic training company. The subject is "More technically - do native files or PDF’s give printing problems?". The second seminar by ATIF, on the other hand, will focus on "Managing color in floxoprinting".
Finally, these are the institutions that have chosen Medprint for their official meetings: Gipea holds its general assembly on April 20th; CNA Grafica has scheduled the National Union Council for Saturday April 21st.
Particular attention is devoted to training for future printers: April 19th and 20th will be open to selected groups of students from professional schools.
The exhibition’s website www.medprint.it provides a complete list of exhibitors, the events agenda, directions to reach Fiera di Roma, a virtual visit planner and a pre-registration service, which will avoid long queues at the reception.
