Following the success won by the previous four editions, MedPrint 2011 addresses the large central and southern Italian printing, publishing and paper converting market. Once again, MedPrint 2011 elected Fiera di Roma as a top-scale exhibition venue for its effectiveness in showcasing exhibitors’ products and services and welcoming industry professionals visiting the exhibition in a highly professional environment.
Rome is highly attractive for central and southern Italian professionals; 45% of Italy’s graphic companies – 10% in Lazio region – and 42% of paper converting companies are concentrated in this area alone. Estimates show that in 2009 these companies invested over 250 million Euros in technology.
In addition to a complete range of technological solutions, MedPrint 2011 introduced a new feature: Digitvision@MedPrint. This area was dedicated to digital technology serving visual promotion and communication and showcased an exhaustive display of solutions highlighting the role of digital technology in boosting company growth (creativity, prepress, prototyping, printing processes and other systems and services for visual communication and promotion).
MedPrint 2011 offered an exhaustive service combining business opportunities with market updates and refresher events. The latter included a wide range of specific initiatives:
the Creativity Day is a perfect habitat for digital art directors.
It has been a day entirely dedicated to free seminars, refresher courses, exhibitions and events dealing with all aspects of communication, design and digital art; in addition, all the latest technological advances, useful tips and a lot of fun for all those who always take pleasure in learning and meeting new people. Participants will included professionals, art directors and enthusiasts who are willing to give it a try, make experiments and break all rules; people enrolled were 711.
the Innovation Corner, an open space within the exhibition giving exhibitors the chance to present their new products. An extraordinary showcase open to all visitors who had the opportunity to choose the topics most closely related to their business;
Round table discussions, an agenda of meetings focused on current technological and economic issues organized in harness with Assografici and with primary trade associations. The round table discussions included meetings with the participation of Print Buyers.
